Pitztalhaus hotel interior refurbishment

At the foot of the glacier

The project involved the complete refurbishment of a hotel in the Pitztal valley in the Austrian Alps. The central idea combines a welcoming atmosphere with a mountain theme. The rooms have distinct themes reflecting how they are used at different times of day. The design uses authentic materials, including solid oak, raw glass and copper, as well as hand-forged steel infill panels and railings shaped like ski poles.
