One power unit. Dozens of tools.
I set out to rethink the single-axle, or two-wheel, tractor and expand its potential with new applications. Its new powertrain uses an electric motor powered by two repurposed battery cells from an electric vehicle. Electric drive also allows the machine to be used inside a greenhouse, where a combustion engine would be unsuitable. The battery capacity is intended for domestic to semi-professional use, and the battery can be replaced when needed. The machine’s compact dimensions make it easy to manoeuvre in confined spaces. I gave it a welcoming, approachable appearance while retaining firm forms and stability where they matter most.
