Design that supports
your product development.
We can start with a new concept, a redesign of an existing product or the development of a selected design. Before work begins, we will agree on the objectives, deliverables and how the design will feed into engineering.
New product design
You have a brief, a technology or an idea and need to give it a form. I explore how the product will be used and identify the key constraints, develop design options and help you choose a direction.
Product redesign
Your product already exists, but its appearance or usability needs work. I propose changes that take the existing construction and manufacturing constraints into account.
3D development and models
I develop the selected design into precise surfaces and 3D data for the next stage of engineering. Physical models can help us evaluate proportions and how the product is used.
Getting started
First, let’s understand
what your project needs.
Send me a short brief, photographs or other project material. We will discuss your objectives and the next stages of development. I will then prepare a proposal outlining the scope, deliverables, fee and schedule. If the brief is still taking shape, we can agree on a separate initial design study.
Practical questions
What you need to know.
Do I need a complete brief?
No. For our first conversation, it is enough to describe the product, the current situation and what you would like to change. We will define the scope together.
Can you work with an existing design?
Yes. A redesign can take your existing engineering and manufacturing constraints into account. We will agree on the required information and the extent of the changes at the start.
What will I receive?
The deliverables will be set out in the proposal. They may include a concept design, a presentation of design options, precise 3D surfaces or design data for further development.
Can you also provide a prototype?
Physical models and testing can be included according to the needs of the project. We will agree separately on the scope of fabrication and who is responsible for the prototype.
How much does a project cost?
The fee depends on the scope and deliverables: the number of options, the level of development, the modelling work and coordination with engineering. I will prepare a specific proposal after our first conversation.
