Made to measure, made on the spot
Fusky Shoes combines made-to-measure barefoot footwear with modern technology. The principle is simple: a robot applies fast-drying liquid polyurethane directly to a sock using 3D printing.
The collaborative robot can be guided by hand to define its movements. This allows the designer to create the toolpath — and therefore the shape of the coloured polyurethane surface — producing a distinctive design that can be repeated as many times as needed.
